OUR BELIEFS
The world may keep changing, but our foundation doesn't: the eternal truth of God's Word. At BedRock Latino we stand firm on the teaching of Scripture, guided by the beliefs and values that shape everything we do.
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the true, authoritative, and powerful Word of God. They are accurate, unchanging, and alive — the foundation of our faith and our life. God's Word isn't just a book; it's the voice of truth that guides us, shapes us, and transforms us.
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons, equal in nature and united in purpose. We believe in God the Father, the creator of the universe.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the living and eternal Word of God, is the virgin-born Son of God — fully God and fully man. He lived among us, led a sinless life, and gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. According to the Scriptures, He was buried, rose again in victory, and ascended to the Father, where He reigns forever. Jesus is alive, and in Him we have salvation!
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, indwells every believer, helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us in prayer, and empowers us to live a victorious Christian life and take part in the work of God's kingdom.
Humanity, created by God, willfully sinned against Him and, as a result, is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ.
We believe Jesus' death on the cross was the final and complete sacrifice for the sins of the world. Salvation isn't something we earn — it's a gift, given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
When we repent, turn from sin, and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, we are born again — made new — and sent to share the gospel with the world. This is the hope of the gospel, and it changes everything!
We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ, founded on the day of Pentecost, made up of all Christians around the world and organized into local congregations. We believe the Bible teaches that every Christian should be an active member of a local church, and that its members are called to:
Meet together regularly for fellowship, worship, teaching, and the Lord's Supper.
Use their natural abilities and spiritual gifts to serve one another.
Love, bear with, accept, and forgive one another.
Seek unity, agreement, and peace with one another.
Carry one another's burdens and pray for one another.
Spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Submit to the authority of the church's elders.
Give through the local church to support gospel outreach, both local and global.
Pursue personal holiness and obedience to God's Word.
Strive together to fulfill the Great Commission.
GOD LOVES YOU
Maybe that sounds familiar — or maybe it feels hard to believe. Perhaps you're curious, skeptical, or simply searching for something real. Wherever you find yourself today, we invite you to pause and consider: what if it's true?
From the very beginning, God's story has been one of love, purpose, and closeness. The Bible describes a God who created us to know Him, trust Him, and live in relationship with Him — a God who cares about every part of our lives: our relationships, our questions, our pain, even our doubts. But somewhere along the way, humanity chose its own path, turning away from the One who gave us life. We've all done it — choosing our own direction, relying on ourselves, and ending up with a brokenness we can't fix on our own. The Bible calls that "sin": it's not just doing wrong things, it's a disconnection from the God who made us.
And here's the surprising part: God didn't walk away. Instead, He came looking for us. Through Jesus, God entered our world and our brokenness. Jesus lived with compassion and truth, and though He did nothing wrong, He gave His life for us. His death wasn't the end — His resurrection changed everything. Because of Jesus, there's now a way back — a way to reconnect with the God who knows you and loves you. You don't need to have all the answers. You don't need to fix your life first. You're simply invited to take a step of trust, turn toward God, and discover a life that begins with grace.
You're not alone in your questions or your journey. This is an invitation — not to religion, but to relationship.
